EpoTopTeam has been active for a little over a month now and the future seems bright. Today the team captain Valentijn 'Sweet Valentine' Schaars got his third result: a magnificent and totally unexpected second place in the Division 6 Classic: Giro di Vincenza. Valentijn has been in suberd shape the past few weeks, as he won both Valmpy GP (which got the team into Division 6) and Kara-Say - Kara-Say. Twentynine year old Schaars has proved to be worthy of the manager's support even though most OCM managers would find him too old to receive any training.
"I'm very happy manager Manormaniac believes in my ability and has dedicated considerable resources to my training." Schaars commented after the race today, "My shape has been excellent lately and I'm confident that I can still improve and get more results".
For now Valentijn will be the clear captain, there are however a lot of gifted riders still untrained, and with an average squad age of 24 we might see some of those youngsters take over the role of captain in the near future.
Jeremy Nieuwendijk will not be taking over from Valentijn as he is currently transfer listed. What will become of Jeremy after his transfer remains to be seen, however it is highly likely that he will go to a well established team which can afford to give him the training he requires to reach his potential. We wish him luck and good tidings wherever he may go.

No need to be sorry, your guy was strong and deserved it :) The fastest riders should always get the best results.
